The Blackwell Industrial Authority is a Trust under the City of Blackwell since 1969. The purpose of the BIA is to promote the development of industry to strengthen Blackwell and surrounding area’s economy. The Blackwell Industrial Park is owned and operated by BIA and consists of 280 acres of developable industrial property served by Highway 11 and located .7 miles from Interstate 35 and the NAFTA corridor. The park has immediate rail access provided by the Blackwell Northern Gateway Railroad and is served by large capacity sewer, water and electric infrastructure. It is located within a two-hour driving distance of Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Wichita, Kansas, the Tulsa Port of Catoosa and multiple regional and international airports.
